In 2025, Areas Seniors, Inc (ASI) embarked on a thoughtful strategic planning process to ensure that our mission continues to meet the needs of today while preparing for tomorrow. Guided by community input and a strong commitment to long-term sustainability, ASI is focused on expanding opportunities for health, wellness, and connection for people of all ages across Antrim County.
The result of this work is the ASI 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, which identifies four key areas of focus: Programming, Marketing, Operations, and Financial. These priorities will guide our growth and help us strengthen our role as a welcoming community hub.
Our renewed Mission:
To build connections by providing a gathering place that enhances social interactions, health, and well-being for community members of all ages in Antrim Country.

ASI Community is THE PLACE where people play, gather, and thrive.
As part of this plan, Area Seniors will be rebranding to better reflect our inclusive, all-ages focus. After careful consideration, the Area Seniors Board of Directors has chosen to adopt:
- New official name: ASI Community, Inc.
- Assumed name: ASI Community
This change highlights our evolution into a vibrant, multigenerational organization that brings people together through shared experiences, wellness, and connection. The bylaws and appropriate filings are being updated to reflect this transition and require membership approval. We will invite members to vote in favor of this important step forward in an upcoming mailing.
